BIG6/BIG7 Pictures

The BIG6 I guess are like the Famous Five - we are a group of close friends who all met at what was Beeston Operatic Society but has since become the Beeston Music Theatre Group. Most of us have been members for a good many years now. The BIG6 have evolved to become the BIG7 and are Mike Cottee, Graham Waters and Jane Cottee, David and Anthea Hinchliffe, and Cheryl and myself.

There aren't many pictures here since until recently we've not had the space to accommodate them but they're growing again now.

bullet Coventry Transport Museum - Feb-14. The Jaguar Collection is the jewel in the crown. Enjoyed the day. Free entry. Graham came with us this time. Cafe only did sandwiches so went and found a nearby Italian cafe which had good food at a reasonable price.
bullet RAF Museum Hendon - Jun-13. Good presentation, good cafe, free entry, can get round it all in a couple of hours. Ideal really.
bullet Royal Armouries Museum - May-13. Great museum, free entry, parking outside 5.50. Good food.
bullet York Railway Museum - Nov-12 - excellent venue, free entry, parking right outside 9
bullet Armourgeddon - Tank Driving Experience - Sep-12 (and their web site is here)
bullet Crich Tramway Village - Jul 2012 - rode the trams, had lunch in the Sheffield pub, did the woodland walk, enjoyed the museum.
bullet Coventry Air Musuem - May 2012 - small museum, mostly outdoors, but unique opportunity to visit the flight deck of some interesting aircraft
bullet David's 75th birthday dinner at Langar Hall
bullet Duxford Imperial War Museum - Feb 2012 - brilliant - especially the Concord and the Blackbird
bullet RAF Cosford Museum - Dec 2011 - excellent air museum, free entry, nice sunny day thoough very windy.
bullet London - April 2011 - Kew Gardens and then Hughenden Manor on the way home. Brilliant weather!
bulletPrague - May 2006 - these pictures are in two groups plus a video...
bulletCasio 7.2mpxl camera - these are the normal photos
bulletBinocular 2mpxl camera - there are taken with a pair of binoculars that have a built-in camera. The camera itself is not brilliant, and it's really hard to take photos without them coming out on a tilt somewhat (as you'll see), but if the light is good as it was here then some interesting shots are to be had.
